The CV

Want to know the nitty-gritty?

I’m a ‘details gal,’ so I get it!

After earning a degree in communications from Emerson College in 1996, I found myself in the film production world — not the glamorous one you're thinking of, but the land of dry, corporate videos. I quickly recognized it lacked what I sought from My Life's Work.

So, I quit and entered a school for massage therapy.

I had always been intuitive and had taken several classes to fine-tune my ‘woo,’ but when I got into massage therapy, I realized that energy work was my calling. Connecting with the information within energy comes naturally to me. I found that the conversations that came out of what I was sensing energetically were invaluable for the folks I worked with. It brought up the big stuff — the trapped emotions, the patterns, and the deep healing that changed their lives forever.

However, I knew I needed more skills to work with the emotional work that my clients wanted. So, in 1994, I got a Master’s in Counseling from the California Institute for Integral Studies. While there, I saw counseling clients and went deep into transformational work. I especially loved Gestalt work and Psychosynthesis and still pull out those tools when working with people now.

I stuck with the healing work after Grad School; back then, you couldn’t really talk with people and do hands-on energy work in traditional therapy settings. So, I worked as a massage therapist and energy healer for nearly 30 years. I’ve studied these modalities:

  • Swedish Esalen

  • CranioSacral Therapy & Somato Release

  • Reiki

  • Touch for Health

  • Acupressure & Reflexology

  • Energy Healing

But over the years, I realized that I have a sense of energy that is mine alone; I’ve always felt comfortable finding my way with energy and healing. Even with all my training in energy work, it was always my instincts as to how to meet my clients energetically that worked the best. Eventually, I realized I didn’t need to be doing hands-on work to access that. I didn’t even need to be in the same room.

In 2012 my counseling training led me to shift into more ‘long-distance’ energy healing and coaching and stepping away from the massage table. It was a natural transition that has me bringing a big bag of skills and tools to my work. And that’s what you’ll find whenever we work together.

I go where you go and pull in all the wisdom I’ve acquired along the way.

If you’re ready to work with me, join a Crone Stories Workshop or book a Rooted Wisdom Session. I can’t wait to see what unfolds!
